About Me

I remember many subway rides after my wife Kaitlyn and I went surfing in the Rockaways. On the way back to our (then) Chinatown apt- with boards in hand- we were asked dozens of times by curious neighbors "You can SURF HERE?" YES! Are you surprised? This is what I live for - sharing hidden treasures in the greatest city on earth. Hello! I'm Emily Yermack - a quirky theater geek, addicted to snowboarding and chicken nuggets, with a passion for people, and finding them their next home. 

After putting a lengthy and successful career in Sports Marketing & Entertainment Sales—and leaving what some would call the "dream job" at the New York Yankees—behind me, I decided to pursue a longtime dream of a career in NYC Real Estate. Honest to a fault and a great believer in transparency, my clients say you can feel my passion and authenticity when we first meet. I pride myself on my outgoing personality and detailed attentiveness (in both my professional and personal lives) Most importantly: caring is what truly counts.

When I'm not working, I love to bike & skateboard in the park, get away in our camper van (that Kaitlyn built), and I live to snowboard through fresh powder.  I'm a huge theater geek, with a singing repertoire that includes musicals and jazz concerts, so I take any opportunity to see shows on Broadway. A lover of performance, I used to do stand up comedy in college and can occasionally be seen supporting new comedians at Gotham downtown.
